Pennsylvania Psychological Foundation

At the Pennsylvania Psychological Foundation (PPF), we believe access to quality psychological care can support individual well-being and contribute to healthier communities. Our mission is to help improve the quality of psychological care and expand access to services across the commonwealth. Through education, advocacy, and professional support, we help psychologists continue making a difference across the state.

Through the foundation, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association gives back to the profession while helping strengthen psychological care throughout Pennsylvania. We provide a dedicated path for charitable giving at a level that works for you. We invest in programs that support psychologists, serve communities, and highlight the real-world impact of psychological care.

Fostering the Next Generation of Pennsylvania Psychologists

Doctoral psychology students invest deeply in their future, and PPF recognizes that financial barriers can make that path more difficult. We offer need-based assistance, providing book awards, education awards, dissertation awards, and scholarships. With donor support, we help dedicated students continue their education and prepare for meaningful careers in psychology.

Apply for PPF Graduate Student Awards

We help psychology graduate students cover education-related expenses that other stipends and scholarships may not address. Students submit statements explaining their qualifications and the challenges they have faced during their graduate education. A designated committee reviews applications and helps ensure award recipients reflect ethnic and cultural diversity.

Our efforts are realized through the Student Education Awards and the Patricia M. Bricklin Student Ethics Award.

Student Education Awards

Through the Student Education Awards, PPF helps students manage the costs of graduate study and everyday living expenses. The review process considers each student’s financial need, academic performance, commitment to service, and community involvement.

Patricia M. Bricklin Student Ethics Award

The Patricia M. Bricklin Student Ethics Award recognizes a Pennsylvania resident or student whose work makes a meaningful contribution to ethics or law in psychology.
