Professional Bio
Dr. Cathy Bykowski is a clinical health psychologist who specializes in supporting people as they navigate the psychological and behavioral impacts of health conditions, including illness and ongoing sleep difficulties. She works with individuals living with chronic illness and those who care for them, helping them understand how physical and psychological health interact and providing practical, evidence-based tools to support wellbeing, manage symptoms, and improve sleep. Dr. Bykowski earned her Ph.D. at the University of South Florida, where her research and clinical work focused on the ways stress, mood, and behavior affect physical health. She later worked with Veterans in VA Medical Centers, gaining experience with a wide range of medical conditions. She now brings this background to her private practice, serving clients through in-person care and telehealth, with a compassionate, collaborative approach grounded in both research and lived experience.
