Professional Bio
Amy Wenzel, Ph.D., ABPP is founder and director of the Main Line Center for Evidence-Based Psychotherapy in Bryn Mawr, PA. She treats clients ages 16 and older using evidence-based psychotherapy packages, especially cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Dr. Wenzel is an honorary faculty member at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy and a trainer-consultant with the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. She has authored or edited 27 books and treatment manuals, many on the delivery of CBT, and she has trained over 1,000 clinicians across the globe in CBT. She brings the latest science of CBT to her clinical work to develop customized treatment plans with the context of a strong therapeutic relationship.
