Suicide Risk Assessment Short Term and Indirect Indicators of Risk

Program Description: Relying on the identification of suicidal ideation in suicide risk assessment protocols has numerous limitations. This workshop will introduce several empirically-supported indirect and short-term indicators of suicide risk and discuss recommended practices for suicide risk assessment across diverse populations.
Program Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Describe at least three indirect and/or proximal risk factors for suicide
Credits Offered: 1 Continuing Education Credit for psychologists and educators. (75% score or higher required)
