Professional Bio
Dr. Kearson received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in pediatric neuropsychology. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Franciscan Children’s Hospital, where she received intensive training in child and adolescent assessment and intervention across developmental, emotional, and medical presentations. She then completed a two-year hospital-based postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, specializing in the neurocognitive effects of complex and chronic medical conditions.
Her advanced pediatric experience also includes additional specialty training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she expanded her work in neuropsychological assessment, consultation, and interdisciplinary care. She has evaluated children across hospital, school, and private practice settings, with a focus on learning disorders, ADHD/executive functioning challenges, autism spectrum conditions, and the neurocognitive impact of medical conditions or treatment. Dr. Kearson regularly collaborates with schools, physicians, and care teams to support intervention planning, IEP/504 development, and family-centered care.
