Ethical Responses When Dealing with Prejudiced Patients

Program Description: Psychologists often deal with patients who may make prejudiced or hate filled comments. This workshop presents a format on principle-based ethics for psychologists to think through their responses to such comments and respond in a manner that maximizes adherence to overarching ethical principles.

Program Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how to respond in an ethically and clinically appropriate manner when patients make prejudiced comments.
