PPA Continuing Education

The Pennsylvania Psychological Association supports the lifelong learning of competent and ethical psychologists by offering a variety of continuing education opportunities throughout the year.

Our Annual Convention in June and our Continuing Education and Ethics Conference in the spring and fall are the best ways for Pennsylvania psychologists to update their knowledge through attending our high quality workshops, share experiences with other psychologists, meet new professionals and re-kindle old acquaintances.  Join us at our events and sample the value that PPA brings to it members! With the variety of workshop topics offered, we are sure that there is something for everyone!

For the 2020-2021 Licensure Renewal Cycle only - requirement that 15 credits must be live/in-person has been suspended.
"Governor Wolf granted the Department of State’s request to suspend restrictions on distance-learning for continuing-education requirements for certain licensed professionals.

The governor granted a suspension of restrictions that limited the ability of licensees to take classes online or participate in distance-learning opportunities for the current biennial renewal period to permit all licensees to complete their continuing education online during the COVID-19 pandemic."
