People of color have experienced oppression throughout their lifetime. Psychologists should possess an understanding of the historical and political impact of racism and classism on psychotherapy. Using a culturally humble stance, the facilitator defines racial trauma, explores its impact, and provides a race-informed therapeutic framework to address concerns in psychotherapy.
