Program Description:  Best practice evaluations have long been the standard for evaluations under the BHRS system. However, changes to that system will change the perceived need for such evaluations. This roundtable, interactive symposium includes multiple perspectives on the role of the history and role of the BPE, and what role this clinical intervention should have in the emerging child-serving system.

The symposium is hosted by Dan Warner, PhD who will present the topic, as well as facilitate the motion through the various perspectives. There is significant time given at the end of the symposium for discussion.

Program Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  1.  Describe the role and application of best practice evaluations in the new IBHS system;
  2.  Detail the history of the use of the BPE in Pennsylvania's child-serving mental health system; and
  3.  Describe the role of high quality psychological evaluations in the emerging Pennsylvania child-serving system.
