PPA's 2010 Annual Convention

Wednesday, June 16 - Saturday, June 19, 2010

Hilton Harrisburg

The Pennsylvania Psychological Association's first Annual Convention of the new decade will be held Wednesday, June 16 through June 19, 2010, at the Hilton Harrisburg.

The convention theme this year, is "Psychology in the Digital Age: Choices and Opportunities." How appropriate for the new decade! The digital age presents Psychology with many choices and opportunities to enhance our knowledge and effectiveness. We are faced with new means for communication, record keeping, assessment, training, marketing and research. With these new opportunities we also face new ethical, legal, privacy and security considerations. Whether you are reluctant to use technology or use it often, we each need to learn about the uses, clinical implications, and ethical issues related to emerging technologies and applications.

The Convention Committee is pleased to announce that there will be no convention registration fee increase for 2010! And, Dr. James Bray, 2009 APA President , will be our Keynote Speaker.

Look for the March issue of the Pennsylvania Psychologist for more convention details. The convention booklet will be available in April.

PPA's Annual Convention is an excellent time to connect with colleagues and friends and learn the latest psychological knowledge in addition to the initiatives designed to enhance psychology as a discipline and profession in Pennsylvania. JOIN US!
