CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS - “Promoting
Multicultural Competence and Social Justice in the Mental Health
Professions” is co-sponsored by PPA and PCA. PPA is approved
by APA to offer continuing education for psychologists. PPA maintains
responsibility for the program.
CREDITS OFFERED - 5 Continuing Education Credits
for Psychologists, Educators and Certified Counselors. Certificates
of completion will be mailed to participants who attend the entire
workshop and complete the evaluation form. Partial credits will
not be given.
REGISTRATION HOURS - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

IMPORTANT REMINDER! - A participant may arrive
no more than 10 minutes late nor leave more than 10 minutes early
to receive credit for a program.
COMFORT AND ETIQUETTE CONSIDERATIONS - •
Please turn off your beeper or cell phone or set them to vibrate;
leave the meeting room to answer your phone so as not to disturb
the training. • Bring a jacket or sweater since it is often
difficult to control the room temperature in the meeting rooms.
• Don’t wear strong perfume or cologne to protect
those with allergies.
SPECIAL NEEDS - PPA is committed
to providing access and support to persons with special needs
who wish to participate in the programs we sponsor. Persons with
disabilities and special needs are encouraged to contact Marti

weeks before the conference, for further information.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Workshop registration
cancellations made MORE THAN 72 HOURS before the workshop will
result in a full refund less $20 administrative charge. All requests
must be made in writing to Marti Evans, Conference Manager, PPA,

Cancellations made LESS THAN 72 HOURS before the workshop will
NOT be refunded.
NBCC -PPA is recognized by the National Board
for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National
Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines.
ACT 48 - PPA is an approved provider for Act
48 Continuing Professional Education requirements as mandated
by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Certificates will
be sent to all School Psychologists following the conference.
Non-PPA members must pay an additional $10 for this service. If
you need ACT 48 credits, please include your social security number
on the registration form.
