I have a general psychotherapy practice for more than 20 years with expertise in cancer, chronic illness and health issues, such as infertility and grief issues. In addition, stress management, creativity blocks, women's issues, depression/anxiety, eating disorders, trauma and PTSD are all areas of expertise.

out of network/private pay, some Medicare
Adolescents, young adults, adults, couples and families. People experiencing chronic and life threatening illness. I also see GLBT clients and couples and work with adolescents coming out. I help blocked writers and artists to enhance their creativity.
I was trained psychodynamically and also have a family systems orientation although I use many cognitive/behavioral techniques, particularly for stress management and medical issues. I believe the therapy relationship is collaborative. The goal of therapy is to help you more deeply understand your own feelings and behaviors so that you can engage in your own life and relationships with others in more fulfilling ways.
