The Pennsylvania Psychological Association advances psychology in Pennsylvania as a means of promoting human welfare and mental health. Being a member of PPA offers many tangible benefits to the member in addition to providing a collegial network for information sharing and social discourse.

PPA has full-time staff members available to answer questions related to professional topics or legal and ethical psychological practice issues.

PPA provides members with updated information regarding important legislative issues for private practice, mental health and managed care. Information is disseminated through regular mail, fax and email regularly.

PPA Listserv is the electronic network offering informal discourse for members via an email format. 

PPA Publications are available to members at a substantial discount and include home studies, books and brochures.

Annual Convention and CE conferences focus on current professional issues with renowned keynote speakers. PPA members receive discounts on registration fees. CE's and Act 48 credits are offered for workshops attended.

The Pennsylvania Psychologist is the official bulletin of PPA and the Pennsylvania Psychological Foundation. PPA dues include member subscriptions. This periodical is published monthly and features information and articles related to the practice of psychology and to psychological research. It also contains classified ads.

Legal Consultation Plan is a program available to PPA members at special rates which offers expert legal advice on psychological practice issues.

Colleague Assistance Program is a specialized program where psychologists can seek help during times of personal stress.

Membership Directory and Handbook is a publication listing PPA bylaws and listing of all PPA members.

Pennsylvania Psychological Foundation (PPF) is a branch of PPA established to promote the welfare of communities through science and the profession of psychology. It is a nonprofit organization which provides education awards, disaster relief, colleague assistance and internship opportunities.

PennPsyPAC is PPA's political link to enable psychologists to promote their messages in Harrisburg and Washington.

PSECU offers PPA members credit union services, including checking account services, ATM/check cards, auto loans, home equity loans, free online banking, mortgages (equal housing lender), deposit services, such as money market accounts, certificates, and IRA's, specialized saving clubs, and free online banking.
