2007 Fall Workshop

"What Your Mother Never Told You About Private Practice"

Saturday, November 3, 2007

Philadelphia, PA

The Pennsylvania Psychological Association of Graduate Students (PPAGS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Richard Johnson, Founder, Co-Director, and Chief Executive Officer of the Psychological Services & Human Development Center, Inc., a multi-disciplinary group practice located in Fort Washington, will present a workshop entitled, "What Your Mother Never Told You About Private Practice," on Saturday, November 3, 2007.

The workshop will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation, 260 South Broad Street, 18th floor, in Philadelphia. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. This workshop is FREE for all PPAGS members.

In this workshop, Dr. Johnson will provide participants with information and strategies regarding the development of a diversified practice and client base, how to structure a practice so it is more responsive to patient needs, how to develop skills and create a practice for a “niche” market, and the future of private practice. Also included among these topics, Dr. Johnson will address emerging models of therapy such as e-therapy and the advent of psychologists as pharmacologists. Time for group discussion as well as a question and answer period will be provided.

PPAGS also encourages interested psychologists to attend this workshop. Not only would you be able to learn more about this interesting topic, but you will also have the opportunity to interact with graduate students.

To register for this workshop, please complete the registration form and mail/fax by October 25. Or register online using one of these two links:
